What was the highlight of Hotel Stella Maris

Overall i would say it is fair enough to saty there.

Breakfast-Range of items are good but need more variation in the breakfast. Room- Room is moderately clean but need to be more cleaner. Bed- Beds are almost alright.

Staff sometimes did not help international guest to book from the hotel. They always suggest to book through Booking.com which is sometimes tough for the guest. They need to be helpful regarding this.

Excellent short break, couldn't have been better

Excellent location, very short walk to promenade /beach and easy walk into town. Hotel staff and facilities very good. Breakfast a veritable feast. All in all great value for money.

We'd all like stays to be a little cheaper but then we wouldn't want a downgrade in serve or facilities. I'm a great believer in " If it isn't broke don't fix it".

Late summer 2024 Stella Maris Blanes

1. the beach is just around the corner, and it is in a quite good condition, no need to look for the better spot if you want to hang out there. 2. when taking breakfasts/dinners, even though you have somewhat the same food each day, the dishes differ each day and are tasty. 3. the reception guys are trying their best to help you when you have questions/requests.

1. be aware, that not all the staff is speaking English (waiters and keepers are in this category, keep this in mind if you are taking breakfasts and dinners) so if you are not from spanish world - either learn some spanish beforehand or call the receptionist for help or try explaining yourself with gestures (the last one really helps (: ). 2. if you want to book excursions - ask the receptionist about it during the working days (monday - friday) period, as there is no option (at least it was so for me) to invite an agent during the weekend.

Great place for the price.

All Staff were wonderful. Great location. The buffet was better than expected - we were there 3 nights and the breakfast and evening meal choices were different each day. . Beds surprisingly comfortable. There is quite a lot of internal noise as floors are tiled but that's what I expect in Spain.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel was exceptionally clean, staff was very friendly especially the breakfast staff and the two girls in the bar. Great selection for breakfast also that left us full for the day. Would highly recommend staying here..

What was the highlight of Hotel Stella Maris

Good option off-season

Simple and bright room, well cleaned and with everything you need including a desk and a chair. Views (some of them, in front is another hotel) on the greenery and mountains from the balcony (I was on the last floor). Pressure in the shower was OK. Two bedside sockets. Almost no noise from the street at night, in case you like sleeping with the window open (I guess it's because it's not the high season; it's an area of hotels). Loved disposable paper cups in the bathroom, the most hygienic and safe option I've encountered. Breakfast was more modest than shown in the photos of the hotel, but it's good. Natural options were: boiled eggs, some choice of fresh vegetables and fruit, maybe a plain yoghurt as well.

There were a tv, air conditioning and heating in the room description. The TV did not function. May be due to the simple fact it was unplugged (and I couldn't solve it on my own since the socket was way too high); anyway, the evening reception didn't offer any solution. No heating in the room either: no mobile heater, the air conditioner was set to only cool mode by the hotel. For me was not a problem, but I guess it might be a problem for someone else taking into account it was late October. Anyway, there were winter blankets in the closet. Strong unpleasant chemical smell in the room, likely a mixture of too much detergent to mop the floors and not changing the water.

Fourth time here . Lots of staff changes since last year. The lady at breakfast recognised us again which was nice breakfast excellent as always

Why did they turn off the hot water because there was only 22 people in the hotel we still. had to shower in cold water

Friendly, comfortable, great for the beach and an excellent breakfast.

The room was comfortable and well-maintained. Having a balcony is always a plus. All the staff I spoke to (at reception, the bar, at breakfast, cleaning staff) were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good - plenty of choice. Very close to the beach.

Excellent location, First class service. Hotel bright spotlessly clean. Amazing value and the beakfast a banquet. Staff friendly and helpful.

Budget hotel, get what you pay for. Was overall pleasant.

The room was a decent size, on the whole was clean. We did however find what looked like a pubic hair on the duvet cover. Floors could've done with a clean.

There was no fridge or anything in the room, this would've been nice, as well as a television. And perhaps bigger towels as well as more ammenties in the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner etc.
