What was the highlight of Hotel Stella Maris
Good option off-season
Simple and bright room, well cleaned and with everything you need including a desk and a chair. Views (some of them, in front is another hotel) on the greenery and mountains from the balcony (I was on the last floor). Pressure in the shower was OK. Two bedside sockets. Almost no noise from the street at night, in case you like sleeping with the window open (I guess it's because it's not the high season; it's an area of hotels). Loved disposable paper cups in the bathroom, the most hygienic and safe option I've encountered. Breakfast was more modest than shown in the photos of the hotel, but it's good. Natural options were: boiled eggs, some choice of fresh vegetables and fruit, maybe a plain yoghurt as well.
There were a tv, air conditioning and heating in the room description. The TV did not function. May be due to the simple fact it was unplugged (and I couldn't solve it on my own since the socket was way too high); anyway, the evening reception didn't offer any solution. No heating in the room either: no mobile heater, the air conditioner was set to only cool mode by the hotel. For me was not a problem, but I guess it might be a problem for someone else taking into account it was late October. Anyway, there were winter blankets in the closet. Strong unpleasant chemical smell in the room, likely a mixture of too much detergent to mop the floors and not changing the water.

Overall i would say it is fair enough to saty there.
Breakfast-Range of items are good but need more variation in the breakfast. Room- Room is moderately clean but need to be more cleaner. Bed- Beds are almost alright.
Staff sometimes did not help international guest to book from the hotel. They always suggest to book through Booking.com which is sometimes tough for the guest. They need to be helpful regarding this.
